Reporting Analyst - Winnipeg

Delta 9 Bio-Tech Inc. is looking for a full-time Reporting Analyst to join our operations team. As a Winnipeg based, federally licensed producer of cannabis. Delta 9 is a Manitoba leader with a dynamic and “growing” work environment.

The Reporting Analyst position includes work-responsibilities in both our Delta 9 Bio-Tech Company and Delta 9 Cannabis Stores, providing the link between raw enterprise data to both the internal and external client.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinate with management, when implementing data collection procedures;
  • Maintains system data for accuracy and usability;
  • Works within various system environments;
  • Extracting and transforming data into visuals;
  • Design/develop and/or support new metrics, dashboards and reports;
  • Supports internal, and external clients;
  • Supports various job-related projects;
  • Other duties as assigned;

Requirements & Experience
  • 2-3 years prior experience & progressive responsibility in an analyst or reporting role;
  • High School diploma, secondary education in mathematics, analytics or computer sciences is preferred;
  • Fully understands analytics;
  • Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office is a must – excellence within Excel and Power BI.
  • Ability to obtain a federal security clearance under the ACMPR is a requirement;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills;
  • Experience in a regulated environment is an asset;

IPM Technician - Winnipeg

Delta 9 Bio-Tech Inc. is the premier licensed Manitoba Cannabis producer under the Cannabis Act. We are currently seeking a high energy, self-motivated Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Technician to join our Quality Assurance team. This is a full-time position offered Monday to Friday, from 8am-4:30pm, this position may require some weekend work. The IPM Technician will be working with our Quality Assurance Manager and cultivation team to complete a schedule of daily tasks as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Preparing and applying of pest control products
• Application and assessment of monitoring devices
• Pest Identification
• Plant scouting/inspection and monitoring for signs of infestation
• Room and equipment cleaning
• Documentation preparation and completion in accordance to SOPs
• Maintaining compliance with the laws, regulations, and SOPs
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of safe work procedures for chemical pesticide applications is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of cannabis plant anatomy, greenhouse pests, viruses and diseases is considered an asset
• Understanding of good documentation practices

• Previous experience working with cannabis under Health Canada regulations is considered an asset
• 1+ years’ experience as a licensed pesticide applicator considered an asset
• Previous greenhouse/growing experience considered an asset

Processing Team Lead - Winnipeg

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated strong leadership qualities and be capable of working under pressure. Successful candidates will have exhibited a strong attention to detail and maintained a good attendance record. The Team Lead must be flexible with shiftwork and comfortable working in warehouse working conditions.

Responsibilities will include:
• Supervise Processing Associates through harvesting, processing, and packaging of Cannabis/Cannabis products as outlined by Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Work Practices;
• Diligent record keeping;
• Weigh and record materials for tracking, complete all required documentation;
• Work with Lead Hands and Team Leads to complete various tasks with limited resources on a daily basis;
• Train staff on processes as outlined by Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Work Practices;
• Monitor performance of team, coach for improvement as needed;
• Operate and maintain equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Work Practices;
• Move cannabis (pre- and post-processed) between production environments in an efficient and sanitary manner;
• Ensure all equipment and rooms (Harvest, Processing and Drying/Curing rooms) have been cleaned and sterilized according to SOPs and all associated documentation is up-to-date;
• Assist with inventory counts as required;
• Assist with developing Continuous Improvement trials, monitor and measure trial’s effectiveness;
• Assist with revising and improving Standard Operating Procedures;
• Communicate issues with Lead Hands, Management and Quality Assurance in a timely manner;
• Provide coverage/backup/support for other Team Leads, Lead Hands and Manager for sick time, vacations, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
Prior Harvesting/Processing/Production experience. Strong Leadership attributes.
