Delta 9 to Supply Cannabis to Private Retail Sector in Province of Saskatchewan

WINNIPEG, MB (February 27, 2019) – DELTA 9 CANNABIS INC. (TSXV: NINE) (OTCQX : VRNDF) (“Delta 9” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority has authorized the Company to supply cannabis directly to the province’s retail and wholesale markets.

“Since the legalization of recreational use cannabis last October, Delta 9 has focused on building capacity and market share in the Manitoba market. We have built out our supply chain and are now making regular shipments to all retailers in the province of Manitoba,” said John Arbuthnot, CEO of Delta 9. “As we build out our cultivation facilities and processing facilities and see increased capacity, we will be able to approach new provincial markets with a similar strategy. We are pleased to offer Saskatchewan retailers the opportunity to access Delta 9’s premium branded cannabis products.”

The Company plans to make its first shipment to retailers in the province of Saskatchewan in the first quarter of 2019. Delta 9 is in continued discussions with other provinces, territories and private retail outlets and plans to enter into additional supply agreements during the course of 2019.
